Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms apply when you book or use services from MacroSora (“we”, “us”). By paying for a service, you agree to them. If you have questions, email hello@macrosora.com before you pay.
1. What we do
We coordinate hospital visits in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu for international patients and expats: consultation and planning, appointment booking at partner hospitals, on-site accompaniment, medical interpretation, hospital payment assistance, travel coordination and follow-up.
We are not a medical provider. Diagnosis, treatment and all medical decisions are made by licensed doctors and hospitals. See our Service Scope & Medical Disclaimer.
2. Consultation and quotes
The first consultation is free and does not oblige you to book. After it, we confirm in writing the hospital, date, services included and a fixed price.
3. Prices and what a “visit” means
- Standard prices are $99.99 per hospital visit in Chengdu and $149.90 per hospital visit in Beijing and Shanghai (USD).
- One hospital visit means one day at one hospital, including several departments or tests on that day. Each additional visit (another day or another hospital) is charged separately at the same price.
- Hospital fees, transport, accommodation, professional document translation and travel planning are not included unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
4. Payment
All payments to us are processed by Stripe — through the payment buttons on this site or a Stripe invoice or payment link we send you. You receive a receipt by email. We never ask for bank transfers or payments to personal accounts. If anyone asks you to pay MacroSora another way, do not pay and contact us.
5. Hospital payment service
If you ask us to pay a hospital on your behalf:
- You tell us the amount the hospital asks for; we send you a Stripe payment link in your currency.
- We pay the hospital in RMB and give you the hospital’s invoice together with our Stripe receipt.
- Any service fee is confirmed in writing before you pay.
- We only pay amounts owed to the hospital for your care (for example registration, tests, medication or deposits).
- Refunds of hospital fees depend on the hospital’s own refund decision; we pass on what the hospital refunds.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your needs, travel dates and contact details.
- Bring the documents we ask for (passport, medical records, reports).
- Be on time for appointments. Hospitals may cancel or move appointments if patients are late.
- Do not send detailed medical records through the website form; we will provide a secure channel.
7. Appointments and hospitals
We use our partnerships to arrange appointments quickly, but hospitals set their own schedules, waiting times, prices and medical decisions. We will tell you promptly if a hospital changes or cancels an appointment and help you find an alternative.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or outcomes, nor for decisions or delays by hospitals, airlines, hotels or other third parties. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a booking is the one published on the date you paid.
